Birch Grove
Discreet luxury in the heart of Sussex
The privately owned Birch Grove Estate covers an area of around 1000 acres in West Sussex. Birch Grove was completed in 1926 and is a Grade ll listed building of Queen Anne style. Birch Grove House sits in such a beautiful position overlooking the privately owned 18 hole championship golf course and further to the South Downs.
Birch Grove House was the home of former prime minister Harold Macmillan the Earl of Stockton and was the venue for Macmillan’s historic meeting with US president John F Kennedy in June 1963.
Today the estate offers The Muir Lodge an elegant, comfortable and well furnished lodge. Complemented by a range of modern amenities that are ideal for a corporate or leisure retreat. Bespoke fine dining is provided by our in house chef and service team.
